Immediately following their 6:05 pm home game against the Columbia Fireflies this Saturday, the Charleston RiverDogs will allow fans to step into the batter’s box and swing for the fences!
Fan batting practice, the latest edition of the team’s “Saturdays Live at The Joe” series, is open to fans of all ages, but with a one pitch maximum, they better make it count! The event is open to fans of all ages, but children 17 and under must have a parent present to participate.
Those 11 and under will hit from the outfield, while the older fans will have the chance to stand in the batter's box at home plate. Any participant that hits a home run will win two tickets to each RiverDogs game for the rest of the season!
The cost is $5 per participant with proceeds being donated to the RiverDogs Youth Baseball Initiatives.
