In a groundbreaking development for Veteran health care, the Ralph H. Johnson VA Health Care System proudly announces the grand opening of the National Institute for Brain Health. This pivotal event will be commemorated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 12:05 pm on November 17, 2023, at the institute's location on the fourth floor of 22 Westedge Street in Charleston.
Pioneering Alzheimer's and Dementia Care, the National Institute for Brain Health stands as the first facility of its kind in the U.S., dedicated to elevating the standard of care for Veterans grappling with Alzheimer’s and dementia. Leveraging evidence-based and data-driven approaches, the institute will transform the landscape of Veteran healthcare by providing unmatched care and leading research initiatives.
