Nexton today announced leasing is now underway at The Hub at Nexton, which is located within the Summerville community.
Consisting of five one- and two-story standalone buildings, The Hub at Nexton will offer 88,000 square feet of medical, retail, office, and restaurant space ranging from 2,000-30,000 square feet. Each building faces onto a central courtyard that will host events, classes, and provide outdoor workspace.
“As the newest office destination along I-26, The Hub at Nexton answers the increasing demand for premier office space within the region,” said Daniel Pellegrino, vice president at Bridge Commercial. “Berkeley County and the surrounding areas have experienced phenomenal economic growth over the past decade, and this project will provide much-needed space to the new wave of businesses moving to or expanding in the region.”
Connected to the greater Nexton community by miles of walking and biking trails, The Hub is adjacent to Refuel Market and the Murray Apartments and is located walking distance from Brighton Park Village, Nexton's first residential neighborhood which sold out earlier this year.
“The Hub at Nexton will provide the region's growing number of residents and employees with distinctive offices that inspire collaboration through communal green spaces and walkability,” said Phillip Manchester, managing partner at SL Shaw & Associates. “We also hope to help close the commuting gap to alleviate regional traffic issues on Interstate 26 by providing more office space in proximity to where people live.”
The Hub at Nexton is scheduled to break ground later this year and will be completed in Q1 2023. For more information on leasing opportunities, visit: www.bridge-commercial.com/the-hub-nexton.
