Press Release
Fetter Health Care Network (Fetter) will be hosting several COVID-19 vaccination clinics throughout the Lowcountry during the month of June. The various clinics include the distribution of a variety of COVID-19 vaccine types, including Moderna, Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson. Currently, individuals 12 years old and older are eligible to receive the Pfizer vaccine. Individuals who receive the Moderna or Johnson & Johnson vaccines must be 18 years or older.
“Our number one goal is to ensure that every individual throughout the Lowcountry has access to receive the COVID-19 vaccine,” said Aretha R. Powers, DHA, CEO of Fetter. “Our team is proud to serve our community and we will continue to do all that we can to meet the needs of our friends and neighbors.”
Currently, Fetter is administering a variety of vaccine types and doses based on the schedule included below. Second dose clinics are intended for individuals who received a previous dose at a Fetter vaccine clinic.
Fetter's upcoming clinic dates include:
Individuals who qualify should arrive at the clinic and complete an on-site registration. Individuals are requested to bring a state-issued photo identification and insurance card, if applicable. Fetter serves both insured and uninsured patients.
Individuals are asked to anticipate a moderate wait time, as previous clinics have been well attended. It is also encouraged that recipients refrain from arriving prior to 30 minutes before the start of the vaccine clinics.
Fetter will continue providing updates on its COVID-19 vaccination clinics at FetterCovid19Screening.org/vaccine-clinic and on social media channels. For more information on Fetter's health care services and locations, visit FetterHealthCare.org.
