Charleston Hope, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting high-poverty schools in Charleston, today announced its upcoming fundraising event on April 20th at 6:30 pm at The Harbor Club. The event will feature the unveiling of Charleston Hope’s new mission and vision statement and a fundraising initiative to support their programs in Title 1 schools, focused on increasing mental health services and after-school programs.
Charleston Hope says they are committed to removing the barriers of poverty so that all students can thrive. With their new mission and vision statement, the organization aims to strengthen their efforts in increasing access to mental and behavioral health programs in schools.
The event on April 20th will be held at The Harbor Club and attendees can expect to learn about Charleston Hope’s programs; listen to a keynote talk from Emily Kerr, the Executive Director; and opportunities to connect with like-minded individuals who are passionate about education and mental health.
The funds raised during the event will directly impact Charleston Hope’s efforts in increasing mental health services and after-school programs in Title 1 schools, providing critical resources and support to students who need it the most.
