The Charleston Museum will welcome local artist Daisy McClellan for a relaxing Holiday Candle Making Workshop using vintage vessels on Saturday, December 9th from 11 am to 12:30 pm. Participants will learn how to make candles from beginning to end using festive vintage glasses, teacups, and tins from McClellan’s collection, resulting in environmentally-conscious and uniquely-stylish candles for the holiday season.
Guests will create two candles mixed with a choice of winter-scented oils including Christmas tree, gingerbread cookies, crackling fire, and more. Special decorations of cinnamon, candy canes, and holiday ribbons will be provided to adorn the candles. Beginners are welcome, no experience is required.
PLEASE NOTE: a drying time of at least 20 minutes is required to transport candles. Guests can purchase tickets online here. Reservations are required. For more information call 843-722-2996 ext. 235.
