Tempest announced they are launching lunch service Monday through Friday, from 11 am to 3 pm starting on Wednesday, December 15th. Created by chef partner Jamie Lynch and executive chef Will Cammer, the lunch menu includes traditional seafood favorites.
“We are excited to bring a fresh new menu to the Charleston lunchtime crowd,” said Chef Lynch. “Chef Will and the team worked hard to put together an inspired lunch menu using some of the pristine products that we source locally. We think that it will appeal to both visitors and locals alike.”
Highlights of the new lunch menu include the Green Leaf Salad with whipped burrata, Thai basil, and cashew dressing; the Roasted Chicken Soup with potato dumplings, watercress and grilled baguette, the Shrimp Po Boy with chili aioli, and fresh herbs; the Tempest Burger featuring comté cheese, and umami aioli; the Swordfish Club with house smoked swordfish “bacon,” ham, mustard, and spicy honey, and more. Guests can also select from Tempest's chilled or charcoal roasted menu which includes local shrimp, half lobster, middleneck clams, various oysters, and the Tempest Tower.
