Starting on May 31st, Sol Southwest Kitchen and Tequila Bar will donate $1 from the sale of each Grilled Romaine Salad and Roasted Blueberry & Basil Margarita to The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s South Carolina Chapter .
Each month, the restaurant selects a charity to benefit from its Kitchen Karma fundraising program. This month’s p roceeds will directly support the MUSC Cystic Fibrosis Care Center , which provides an interdisciplinary approach for complete cystic fibrosis care.
The inspiration for this month's partnership came from 9-year old Maggie Faye who has Cystic Fibrosis (CF). Last year, Maggie's younger sister Ellie raised over $600 selling lemonade for CF. To honor Maggie and her sister, SOL will be adding “Ellie's Strawberry Lemonade” to their children's menu and will donate 100% of its proceeds to CF.
