On Saturday, October 1st, Park Circle Oktoberfest will welcome South Carolina's oldest operating brewery to its future home in the North Charleston neighborhood. The celebration will be held on the site of Palmetto Brewing Company’s future home at O'Hear and Empire Avenues.
The festival, subtitled “Welcoming Palmetto to the Circle,” is a free, all-ages event hosted by EVO Pizzeria and The Brew Cellar. It will feature local food, beverages, vendors, live music, competitions, contests, an address from Mayor Keith Summey, and more.
Attendees will also learn about Palmetto's vision for its upcoming brewery, as well as the nearby Garco Mill development.
Palmetto Brewing will be pouring its full line-up of beers, while Stems & Skins will have wine offerings. Food options will include traditional Bavarian Fare with some twists by Lewis Barbecue, Fratello's Italian Tavern, LoLA, EVO Craft Bakery, Lowcountry Street Grocery, and King of Pops.
The party will run from 11 am to 5 pm. For more information, visit the Facebook event page.
