In celebration of Negroni Week, High Wire Distilling Co. announced its inaugural Amazing Hat Trick Negroni Tour, a weeklong celebration of the classic Negroni cocktail and a showcase for Charleston's talented bartenders.
Twenty Holy City locations will participate in the tour and each has designed a special Negroni cocktail made with High Wire's signature product, Hat Trick Botanical Gin. Those interested in joining the tour can pick up their Tour Pass at each participating location, High Wire Distilling Co, or Bottles Beverage Superstore.
As tour guests visit the designated locations and order the featured Hat Trick Negroni, they receive a custom stamp on their tour pass. Once they collect ten stamps, they can turn their tour pass in at High Wire Distilling Co. and receive a special prize.
The Amazing Hat Trick Negroni Tour will kick off Sunday, June 4th at Warehouse at 45 ½ Spring Street. Local bartenders Megan Deschaine (The Macintosh), Teddy Nixon (Bar Mash), Justin Simko (Husk), and Roderick Groetzinger (Sermet's) will be serving up their signature negronis alongside a “Negroni picnic” from Chef Emily Hahn. A friendly competition will take place for Best Negroni, and all proceeds will be donated to Palmetto Medical Initiative.
High Wire Distilling Co. will also be offering classic Negroni tastings at Bottles in Mt. Pleasant on Saturday, June 3rd and Saturday, June 10th from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm.
