Charleston poet Linda Joy Walder
Celebrated Charleston poet Linda Joy Walder will read from "Running Naked in the Snow," her debut collection of poems, exploring life, love, loss, and hope.
Linda Joy Walder has written poetry in her mind daily since childhood. Her debut collection of poems, "Running Naked in the Snow" (Free Verse Press), is deeply rooted in a lifetime of magical and mournful circumstances. Linda describes her poems as "word paintings," pulling back the curtain during grief, engaging with abandoned flowers, or reflecting on intimate family moments, as well as other experiential encounters.
Linda Joy Walder became a published poet at age 60...and has lots of wise ideas about how to harness personal creativity...at any age! A Q&A with the poet will following the reading.
