Shifa Free Clinic is hosting their annual Back2School Giveaway on Saturday, August 5th from 11 am to 1 pm at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 6650 Dorchester Rd, North Charleston.
The event will run from 11 am until 1 pm, while supplies last. Attendees can visit the onsite health fair, receive fresh produce, hygiene kits, and school supplies. Children must be present to receive school supplies.
The onsite Health Fair will offer a number of free preventative screenings such as diabetes screening, anemia screening, blood pressure screening, BMI testing, vision screening, lung and colon screening, and respiratory function testing. Those that qualify can sign up to receive a free mammogram and get additional resources from the Shifa Free Clinic.
