Inspired by the 1985 cult film and the iconic board game that has entertained generations, “Clue: On Stage” brings together the unforgettable characters and twists that fans have come to love. The story unfolds in a grand mansion filled with eccentric personalities, all with their own secrets to hide. When a murder occurs, a group of quirky suspects finds themselves in a race to uncover the truth and identify the culprit.

Audiences will delight in the return of familiar characters like Colonel Mustard, Miss Scarlet, and Professor Plum, each played by a talented ensemble cast that breathes new life into these iconic roles. Just like the game, the play’s plot is a labyrinth of clues, misdirection, and unexpected turns. With a blend of suspense and humor, the mystery unravels as the characters navigate through the twists and revelations.
“Clue: On Stage” is directed by Colin Waters, a member of Charleston Stage's Acting Ensemble and three-time ‘Best Actor' winner in Charleston City Paper's Best of Awards. “We’ve taken the beloved elements of the board game and movie and reimagined them for the stage,” says Waters. “Audiences can expect a fast-paced and highly entertaining evening filled with suspense and humor. It’s a classic whodunit with a modern twist that we know will delight both fans of the board game and the cult film.”
