Artist and author Robyn Jamison wants you and your family to experience art this summer, and she is prepared to help. Robyn offers free online tools for museum goers to use at any art museum in the U.S. Known as ‘The Magic of Modern Art On The Go”, these tools guide visitors through three unique tours—experiencing the art personally, seeing through the artist's world and describing what is seen. Ms. Jamison recommends that analysis and judgment be left at the door. In South Carolina the Columbia Museum of Art is a great destination.

For families that may not have that much to say to each other, nothing is more thought provoking or conversation starting than art, especially modern art. “The experience of seeing art is exciting once you know how to approach it!” says Ms. Jamison. “Each of us will have a unique and personal experience with the art we see. It's important to know that any reaction or experience one has with art is completely valid.”
