Sarah A. Ford, the South Carolina-based legal analyst who made appearances on CNN, TMZ, Law and Crime Network, and more during the recent “Murdaugh Murders” trial is today launching her new podcast, Stepping Toward Justice. Episodes will normally be released weekly on Tuesdays, but this week, she will also publish one on Thursday.
“As we are wrapping up the Palmetto Primetime podcast, I'm looking to the future to have meaningful conversations on everything that affects victims, survivors, and other social justice issues in not only South Carolina but around the country,” said Ford. “As a victim of sexual assault myself, I want to inspire my listeners by bringing them the stories of not only high-profile change agents but of their neighbors who are choosing to own their stories. It's going to be a podcast of progress and accountability in our everyday lives, in our beautiful state of South Carolina, and in our country.”
The Stepping Toward Justice podcast will be available on every major podcast platform and the first guest will be Chandra McPherson Gibbs, the Chief of Staff at the Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Department and a veteran Victim Advocate. The second guest will be Karl Stoller, the father of the late Dallas Stoller, an alleged victim of Bowen Turner, who was charged with the sexual assault of Stoller in 2019 .
“My plan is to dig deep into issues that affect everyday people and how we make things better,” Ford said. “Stepping Toward Justice will inspire listeners to advocate for themselves and their neighbors because we are going to build community. Victims and survivors are NOT alone. This isn't about me. This is about all of us. Together, we can bring about accountability and change.”
