The Junior League of Charleston (JLC) invites the community to attend the third annual Bridal Boutique on January 12, 2019, from noon to 4 pm, at the Colonial Ballroom at the Francis Marion Hotel. While the main event is free and open to the public, Bridal Boutique will also offer 50 early access tickets for $10 each to shop the sale from 11 am to noon.
The JLC Bridal Boutique provides an “elevated shopping experience for brides and patrons to purchase deeply discounted wedding dresses, evening gowns, cocktail dresses, mother-of-the-bride gowns, and accessories from boutiques and local brides.” Store samples and gently used dresses start at $25. Designers include Amsale, Paloma Blanca, Jim Hjelm, Badgley Mischka, Carolina Herrera, and more. Bridal store Nashville provides prospective brides with an extensive selection of wedding gowns, headpieces, and professional guidance to ensure they choose the ideal look for their big day.
“We are excited to be able to provide this experience for those in the market for bridal and evening dresses,” Beth Bailey, president of the Junior League of Charleston, said. “It's an event unlike any other – not only in the great selection of merchandise but in its purpose. Proceeds from this event are invested directly back into our community through the JLC's work with local nonprofits to combat hunger and homelessness, and in supporting the mission of the JLC as we empower women and provide trained volunteers.”
Donation opportunities are still available. If you'd like to donate new or gently used bridal gowns, bridesmaid dresses, mother of the bride dresses, or wedding accessories, contact bridalboutique@jlcharleston.
