People with disabilities, their caregivers and families are invited to spend some refreshingly fun evenings at the waterparks and the pool this summer!
Inclusive Swim Nights take place after regular park hours, providing the opportunity for people with disabilities to experience the waterpark and pool amenities with smaller crowds.
Lifeguards will be on staff. Wheelchairs and water wheelchairs will be available for checkout during the events on a first-come, first-served basis. Food and beverages will be available for purchase on site.
Advance registration is recommended and is available at CharlestonCountyParks.com or by calling 843-795-4386. A paid chaperone is required for all participants. All chaperones and caregivers will be charged an admission fee.
2023 Inclusive Swim Nights Schedule:
Whirlin’ Waters Adventure Waterpark at North Charleston Wannamaker County Park
- May 13 and May 20
- 6:30-8:30 p.m.
- $9 per person; free for children 2 and under and Super Splash Pass holders
- Rain date: June 3
Splash Zone Waterpark at James Island County Park
- June 11
- 6:30-8:30 p.m.
- $7 per person; free for children 2 and under and all Splash Pass holders
- Rain date: June 17
Splash Island Waterpark at Mount Pleasant Palmetto Islands County Park
- June 24
- 6:15-8:15 p.m.
- $4 per person; free for children 2 and under and all Splash Pass holders
- Rain date: July 8
West County Aquatic Center (Hollywood)
- July 15
- 6:30-8:30 p.m.
- $2 per person; free for children 2 and under, West County Aquatic Center pass holders, and Gold Pass holders
- Rain date: July 22
