The Holy City Vintage Market returns to The Royal American for a “big, loud, rock ‘n’ roll edition” on Sunday, February 9th from 11 am to 4 pm.
Featuring a live, solo set of vintage rock covers on the front porch by DUMB Doctors, the market will also include close to two dozen vendors selling all-things vintage, plus a few bonus booths. “We haven’t been at The Royal American since last spring, so I figured it’s high time to get back to one of our favorite places in Charleston,” said founder Kelly Rae Smith, also of Runaround Sue Vintage. “We’ll bring back a fave vendor or two who folks haven’t seen in a while and debut some new folks who’ve never set up with us before. It’s going to be a fun day of playing dress up and listening to some amazing rock ‘n’ roll.” Scott Dence of DUMB Doctors will perform covers from the likes of the Velvet Underground, The Stooges, The Rolling Stones, T-Rex, The Smiths, Elvis Costello, and The Cramps.
Vendors will be announced via Instagram leading up to the market, so be sure to follow @holycityvintagemarket. For more information, visit the event page on Facebook.
