A local casting agency is currently accepting submissions for those interested in working as paid extras on the upcoming fourth season of The Righteous Gemstones, the HBO series starring Danny McBride, John Goodman, Edi Patterson, and Adam DeVine.
If you'd like the chance to appear on the series, you should submit the following information to Tona B. Dahlquist Casting to be considered:
- 2 current photos (1 close up and 1 full length)
- Name
- Cell Phone Number
- Age
- City/State you reside
- Height
- Weight
- Complete Clothing Sizes and Shoe Size
- Description of visible tattoos and piercings
- Color, Make, Model, Year Vehicle You Drive (In case it can be used in a scene, which you will be paid more for)
They also have some specific needs:
Experienced Skateboarders and BMX Riders
They need several at skilled level and several intermediate level
All should have their own equipment and gear
Tentative Filming Dates: 5/23 & 5/24
Submissions should have the heading: SKATE BOARD / BMX REQUEST
Include everything listed above, but also your Skateboarding or BMX experience
Males that can portray Soldiers
- Actual Civil War Reenactors needed as well
- Males should NOT have sharp short modern hair cuts
- If interested in being considered do NOT cut your hair until filming. Shaggy hair preferred
- Seeking males with various stages of facial hair from clean cut, scruff, mustache only, short beard to long beards
- Due to a uniform being assigned to a person, they are looking for those with flexible schedules that can give them multiple filming dates
- Submission should include the info listed above the heading "SOLDIER AVAIL," and two current photos (1 close up and 1 full length). The photos MUST reflect your current hair length and facial hair status.

The Righteous Gemstones, is a half-hour comedy series created by McBride, who wrote, directed, executive produced, and acted in the show. The first two seasons were predominately filmed in the Charleston area. The series tells the story of the world famous Gemstone televangelist family, which has a long tradition of deviance, greed, and charitable work, all in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
