Nashville-based comedian (and former Charleston area resident) Dusty Slay's first hour special, Workin’ Man, will premiere on January 16th on Netflix.
During his years in the Holy City, Slay won The Charleston Comedy Festival Stand Up Competition two years in a row and was voted “Best Local Comic” by the readers of the Charleston City Paper in both 2013 and 2014. He has appeared on several network shows including NBC's Last Comic Standing, ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live!, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Laughs on FOX, and was a featured comedian on TMZ. His comedy is regularly showcased on many nationally syndicated radio programs including Sirius XM, Pandora Radio, and “The Bob and Tom Radio Show.”
He was also the youngest comic to play Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry when he made his debut, and currently boasts a TikTok following of nearly half a million.
Workin’ Man was filmed at Knoxville’s Bijou Theatre on May 13th.
