Awendaw Green will host a benefit Barn Jam this Sunday (2/10) at 1 pm.
Proceeds from the concert will go to Lucy, a 1-year-old girl who was born with kidney failure. The website says this about Lucy:
After living on dialysis for a year, she is scheduled to have a kidney transplant and luckily her father, Barry is a match and will be donating his kidney to his precious baby girl. It will still be a long road for this family, so this event was created to help them with the enormous expenses of caring for the young triplets and to help with costs incurred by the transplant and the lengthy aftercare and medications expected as the baby grows into her new kidney.
The Barn Jam will feature 5 bands, bonfires, oysters, wood-smoked pizzas and other food, beer and wine. The bands performing are Everest Cole, Satellite Radio, The Louie D Project, Hit or Miss and the Jacob Jeffries Band.
Tickets are $20.00 in advance and $25.00 at the door. You can purchase them in advance here.
