We Are Sharing Hope SC (SHSC), South Carolina’s organ and tissue recovery program, will host its 20th Annual Race for Life on Folly Beach on March 29, 2025.
The charitable race is an uplifting event that raises funds to support educational programs on organ, eye and tissue donation across the state. The event brings together transplant recipients who get to run alongside family members of South Carolina donor heroes who gave the gift of life.
“The race is an opportunity to take a moment and remember all those who have given the most precious gift, the gift of life,” said Krystal Cau, Director of Communications at We Are Sharing Hope SC. “We are grateful for our community, hospital partners but most of all our donor families for their bravery and generosity. We hope our event continues to inspire our community and raises awareness for donation and the impact it can have on so many.”
Online registration is now open, and runners can sign up for a 5K and 10K at SharingHopeRace.com.
Participants that are unable to attend in person can register as a “Hero from Home” to show their support for the donation mission. Early bird pricing is available now through November 30, 2024.
