The Pickle Bar this week announced the upcoming "Neighbors Helping Neighbors" Pickleball Tournament, a community event with a purpose. Set to take place on November 10, 2024, 100% of all of the event's entry fees and 10% of food and beverage sales on that day will be donated directly to Samaritan’s Purse to support ongoing recovery efforts in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. In conjunction with Summerville Fire Department, The Pickle Bar will also be a drop off point for water, cleaning supplies, paper towels, toilet paper, diapers, formula and toiletries.
“We’ve always believed that we are better together, and giving back is one of our core values here at The Pickle Bar,” says Alisa Tolliver, Founder of The Pickle Bar. “This event allows us to bring together our pickleball community and help others in need. Partnering with Samaritan’s Purse and the Summerville Fire Department is a meaningful way for us to support disaster relief and recovery efforts across North and South Carolina.”
