Suburban Propane is partnering with Tanger Outlets and the Charleston RiverDogs to assemble and donate 100 clothing-care kits through a shopping event benefiting Lowcountry Orphan Relief (LOR), a non-profit organization that provides goods and services to children who have been abused or neglected.
Organization volunteers, participating partners, and local college athletes will gather at Tanger Outlets in North Charleston (inside Old Navy) on April 5th to purchase clothing and designated essentials for children ages 5-18.
This initiative is part of the SuburbanCares campaign, which is designed to assist in community efforts across the United States. Suburban Propane is currently undertaking similar initiatives to support children and their basic needs in some of the most-affected regions in the nation, including Detroit, MI; Sante Fe, NM; Santa Rosa, CA; Worcester, MA, New Brunswick, New Jersey, and Philadelphia, PA.
