The James Island Messenger i s sponsoring a debate and candidate forum tomorrow at the Marine Resourc es Research Institute Auditorium at 217 Fort Johnson Rd. R egistered candidates in the Town of James Island’s “Special Election” were invited to attend the 7 pm event.
According to a press release, the forum will include a “ question-and-answer, alternate format debate, bookended by opening and closing statements from the candidates.”
The forum will also include a debate between i ncumbent Mayor Bill Woolsey and challenger Trent Kernodle . After the event, c andidates will be available to attendees until 9 pm. Click here for more information.
