The Board of Directors of Conservation Voters of South Carolina (CVSC) today announced its endorsement of a diverse group of candidates for the SC state legislature for the November 5th general election.
The organization says it is confident that these endorsed candidates will "champion robust policies that protect South Carolina’s natural resources—land, air, and water—and enhance energy independence through diversified energy solutions."
"South Carolina benefits when dedicated leaders who understand the importance of our natural resources are at the helm," said John Tynan, President of CVSC. "These endorsements reflect our belief in the ability of these candidates to make informed decisions that will protect and enhance our state's natural resources for generations to come."
The candidates CVSC endorsed:

CVSC encourages voters to vote early Monday, October 21 to Saturday, November 2 (the polls are closed on Sunday, October 27th). Early voting centers are open from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. during the early voting period. Any registered voter can bring their ID and vote early in the county in which they are registered.
