The Charleston County Board of Voter Registration and Elections (BVRE) has extended the submission window for the 2024 "I Voted" Sticker Design Contest. The extension comes as Charleston County students continue to create fantastic artwork showcasing the electoral process and love of the Lowcountry.
Contest Overview:
- Eligibility: Open to all Charleston County students entering grades K-12.
- Submission Period: Runs from 12 p.m. on July 5, 2024 through 12 p.m. on September 15, 2024. Entry Details: Participants can submit their designs through the official submission form available at CHSVotes.gov. Entries may be mailed, emailed, or delivered in person to BVRE.
Selection Process:
- Judging: Post-submission, a selection of five finalists from each grade group (K-5, 6-8, and 9-12) will be determined by the BVRE executive team.
- Public Voting: Finalists' designs will be subject to public voting via the official BVRE Facebook page. Followers will vote for their favorites through Facebook reactions.
Awards:
- Recognition: Winning designs will printed on a limited run during early voting for the 2024 General Election. Prizes: Winners will receive a BVRE prize pack, including a $50 gift card to D’Allesandro’s Pizza, two tickets to Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum, their design printed on stickers, and a certificate of achievement.
