Local country station WEZL recently announced that their popular “Evening With The Stars” concert will return to the North Charleston Performing Arts Center on Tuesday, October 28th at 7 pm. The concert will once again benefit the MUSC Children's Hospital. In fact, 100% of ticket sales go to the facility.
This year's performers include Big & Rich, Craig Morgan and Scotty McCreery. Morgan also appeared at last year’s “Evening With The Stars.”
Big Kenny and John Rich are well known for their hit country party anthems like “Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy).” Rich has penned five No. 1 Hits, including two with his former group Lonestar. Their new album, Gravity, will be released on Tuesday, September 23rd.
Craig Morgan has garnered 17 Top 40 hits, including the No. 1 smash hit, “That's What I Love About Sundays.”
Scotty McCreery, the winner of American Idol’s tenth season, rounds out this year’s lineup. His debut album went platinum as he sold over 1.6 million albums.
The event is in a “singer-songwriter format,” which should make for intimate performances. During the show, each act is expected to share stories about their songs and experiences.
Tickets go on sale tomorrow at 10 am. Tickets range from $50-$100 before taxes and fees. For more information, click here.
