Details:
- Paving work is scheduled from March 3 through March 14 from 7 pm to 6 am
- Operations will occur intermittently in all travel lanes and select turn lanes along Glenn McConnell Parkway from Bees Ferry Road to Magwood Drive.
- Residents should expect traffic control signs, message boards, reduced speed limits, and brief stoppages.
- Residents are asked to use caution while driving through the construction area.
Charleston County Public Works is performing paving operations as construction continues to make progress on Glenn McConnell Parkway. The project includes improvements along an approximately 2.1-mile section of Glenn McConnell Parkway starting near Magwood Drive to the intersection with Bees Ferry Road. The primary goal is to relieve traffic congestion on Glenn McConnell Parkway and improve bike/pedestrian access throughout the project corridor.
