The Charleston Museum and its Historic Houses will be closed on Tuesday, August 6th and Wednesday, August 7th due to the risk of flooding, caused by Tropical Storm Debby. The Heyward-Washington House is closed today, and the Joseph Manigault House will be closing today at 2:00 p.m., August 5th.
In addition, all scheduled Museum classes and events this week are canceled. The Museum and historic houses will reopen when conditions are safe to do so. Please continue to check the Museum’s website for updates.
Also, the Sunset on the Stono even scheduled for Thursday, August 8th has rescheduled to August 15th.
