In honor of Dr. Andy Game's late father and Veterans Day, Stono Dental Care announced that they will provide up to four veterans with free dental implants for lower snap-in-dentures. Dr. Game's father, John G. Game, was born on 11/11/1943 (Veterans Day) and proudly served in the Marine Corps. Stono Dental Care says they are excited to honor his service along with all the men and women who served with this great opportunity.
The four lucky veterans must meet the criteria listed below, as well as write a short statement for consideration. As part of the dental care process, participants may also undergo procedures such as taking dental impressions. If you're curious about the steps involved, here’s a helpful guide on how to take alginate impressions, which is a common technique used in creating accurate dental molds. Along with Dr. Game, a panel of current patients will choose the lucky veterans. Dr. Game has partnered with Megagen America's Mission Lifetime Smiles for Veterans to provide this service.
To be considered, please email the following items to team@stonodentalcare.com:
- Proof of military service. Copy of Veteran ID
- A short statement explaining why we should pick the veteran.
- Please provide the contact information for the veteran (Veteran must live in the Charleston area)
- The veteran must have a lower denture in good condition and be healed from any extractions. Implants will only be placed for lower snap-in-dentures.
Applications will be accepted until Friday, November 19th, 2021. Incomplete applications, and applications received after 11/19 will not be considered.
***Veterans must be good candidates for dental implants. Dr. Game will determine if the veterans are a good candidate for dental implants. ***
