Out of Hand and the Old Village in Mount Pleasant will host “Sharing the Harvest” on Thursday, November 20th from 5 pm to 8 pm. The event will celebrate the revitalization of the Old Village Merchant District and the 20th anniversary of The Art of Creating, a company that celebrates collective creativity.
Lisa Thomas, the founder of The Art of Creating, is considered to be the driving force behind the district’s transformation, so the event will also be a celebration of her hard work. You can read more about Thomas and her work in this recent interview with the Post & Courier.
The event will feature live music, food from local vendors, and family activities. Plus, local Pitt Street businesses will be open.
Donations from the event will benefit Basket Brigade, a Charleston nonprofit that feeds families in need during the Thanksgiving holiday.
