As Charleston County's SC-41 Interim Improvements Project nears completion, the following intermittent nighttime lane closures will be in effect to allow crews to implement sidewalk and drainage improvements on Dingle Road.
Dingle Road near US-17
- 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., Monday, August 26 through Thursday, August 29, 2024
- 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., Tuesday, September 3 through Thursday, September 5, 2024
Flaggers will be on site to direct traffic, and construction signs and message boards will be in place to alert drivers.
Temporary traffic barrels and cones will be in place to ensure the safety of drivers and pedestrians. As always, drivers are asked to use caution when traveling through the work area.
Improvements to the SC-41 and Joe Rouse Road intersection have now reached substantial completion with all roadway, sidewalk, and signal changes currently in place and operational.
Following completion of the Dingle Road sidewalk and drainage improvements, crews will begin final paving, median, pavement marking, and traffic signal work. The project is expected to be complete by early November.
