Charleston County Public Works, Greenbelt staff, and CARTA staff will host several public meetings about potential projects to preserve green space, improve roads, bike and pedestrian accommodations, mass transit systems, and fund the extension of the Mark Clark Expressway.
All meetings are a drop-in style and will be held from 5-7 p.m.

Charleston County staff has worked with local municipalities, the South Carolina Department of Transportation, and the Berkeley-Charleston-Dorchester Council of Governments to discuss potential projects and financing methods.
Charleston County Council is considering placing a sales tax referendum on the November 5, 2024 ballot to fund potential projects.
