Candice Culbertson Hudnall, President and Owner of Hamby Catering & Events has been recognized as a 2024 Women in Business Honoree by the Charleston Business Magazine, Columbia Business Monthly, Greenville Business Magazine and The Grand Strand B2B Magazine in their annual awards.
After six years with Hamby Catering & Events, founder Fran Hamby and her great nephew, Wes Ellison, entrusted ownership of the company to Hudnall and her father, Wayne Culbertson. Since assuming ownership, Hudnall has achieved numerous accolades. She was named to Charleston’s Forty Under Forty list in 2017 and was a part of Leadership Charleston’s class of 2019. Under her leadership, Hamby Catering & Events has been recognized as Post & Courier’s Charleston’s Choice Top Caterer for seven consecutive years and was listed among shiftNOW’s 2023 Top 23 Places to Work. In Fall 2023, Hudnall successfully oversaw the opening of the company’s flagship event venue, The Rutledge Room.
This latest honor as a 2024 Women in Business Honoree highlights Hudnall’s dedication and leadership in the catering and events industry. Her vision and commitment continue to shape Hamby Catering & Events into a premier choice for clients across the region.
