North Charleston Officer to be Charged With Murder After Shooting Fleeing Suspect

North Charleston Police Department Officer Michael Slager will be charged with murder in the shooting death of Walter Scott. The charges were announced about an hour after SLED and the NCPD watched a video showing Slager shoot Scott in the back as he fled from the officer (video is at the conclusion of this post).
