After a period of 10 earthquakes in about nine months, the earth beneath Summerville had been quiet. The operative word there is “had.”
A 1.4-magnitude earthquake struck around 4 am this morning just off of Ashley River Road. ABC News 4 is reporting that the epicenter was to the west of the Kings Grant Golf Club on Dorchester Road and was 7.6 miles underground.
Anyone in that area feel this minor quake?
