During tomorrow’s Charleston Marathon Health & Fitness Expo , a local entrepreneur will be showing off her new running accessory, The Running Buddy.
According to a press release, the lightweight Running Buddy uses “strong, therapeutic magnets that attach over any waistband, allowing runners to carry essential items like a smart phone or mp3 player, running gels, credit cards and ID, keys, passport and more right at their hip”
The product was designed by local runner and triathlete Julie Bradfield, and was awarded a patent for The Running Buddy this past September. Last year, her product was featured in two separate QVC segments and she received plenty of national attention.
