Today, Lauren Herterich officially announced she is running for Charleston County School Board.
Herterich is committed to improving the educational system in Charleston and her work speaks to her level of commitment. Lauren is currently the Executive Director of Kids On Point, a local non-profit that is focused on improving educational outcomes and access for students.
“This is a natural evolution for me- I firmly believe that access to a quality education is the key to our future. I have seen first-hand what works and doesn’t work in our school system. We need to come together as a community to ensure that all schools and students have the opportunities and resources to be successful. It’s time for a change on CCSD School Board and I’d be honored to serve.” said Herterich
