He may have been a couple weeks late to the story, but that didn’t stop Seth Meyers from lending his comedic talents to the Sullivan’s Island Pig story.
For those who need a refresher, a wild pig swam out of the ocean on near Station 26 back on July 25th. After walking around for a bit, the animal was eventually captured and removed from the beach. The little piggie’s plight was a popular topic of conversation around the Holy City and now, thanks to Meyers and his team, it has gotten national attention.
On Tuesday’s (well, technically Wednesday’s) episode of Late Night with Seth Meyers, the former Saturday Night Live funnyman mentioned the story during his opening monologue. After a brief recap of the story, Meyers takes an educated guess of what may have happened to the little porker.
You can watch the clip below (Meyers starts talking about the pig at the 1 minute mark). Erin Schwartz, who posted the first pictures of the pig on Twitter, informed Holy City Sinner of this clip.
