Lakeland Capital, a Charleston-based private, multifamily investment company active in select East Coast markets, recently announced a new hire joining the company’s Charleston office.
Ethan Villamater (pictured), a rising junior at Washington and Lee University pursuing a bachelor's degree in business administration, will join Lakeland Capital as a summer analyst and work with the team on acquisitions and asset management of its southeast portfolio.
Originally from Maryland, Villamater holds a certificate in business psychology from the London School of Economics and is a member of Washington and Lee’s Diversified Capital Group, the university’s first URM-owned, student-run investment fund. As part of this group, Villamater works with a team of analysts to perform equity research to actively manage a portfolio of $1 million of Washington and Lee’s endowment in growth investments.
