Beginning on May 4th, the City of Isle of Palms Recreation Department will host a Serenity Sea Stroll & Stretch on the beach (25th Avenue) every Thursday at 7:30 am. Each class is free for both residents and visitors to attend.
Led by a City of Isle of Palms Recreation Department instructor/trainer, participants will gather on the beach for a one-hour class. Each event includes a forty-five minute walk followed by a fifteen minute stretch. All fitness levels are welcome, and individuals can move at their own pace.
“Salt air, soothing waves, sunshine, and friends – what a wonderful way to get moving in the morning and prepare for the day,” said Karrie Ferrell, Recreation Director. “The Recreation Department is so excited to offer this no cost program for all. As we stroll along our beautiful Isle of Palms beach, the instructor will provide health and wellness guidance during each journey.”
