In response to the growing challenges faced by young pregnant women and the need for expanded support, Florence Crittenton Programs of SC (FCP) has launched the Beyond Our Walls campaign. This initiative aims to raise $54,000 by the end of June in honor of the 54 girls they organization had to turn away since January due to capacity constraints. The funds raised will enable FCP to extend their reach and support more young mothers in need through essential services, including housing assistance and community-based support programs.
The campaign was announced at Florence Crittenton's 2nd Annual Legacy of Hope Brunch, held at the Daniel Island Club with over 100 attendees. The event showcased the powerful impact of community support on the lives of vulnerable expectant mothers.
A highlight of the brunch was the inspiring stories shared by two of our alumni, Chloe and Rachel. Both recipients of Florence Crittenton's support, they have gone on to achieve significant milestones, including college graduation and successful business ownership.
"Florence Crittenton is dedicated to ensuring that the organization continues to provide safety, hope, and opportunity for generations to come," said Monique Wilsondebriano, FCP Board Member & Co-Owner, Charleston Gourmet Burger Company. "By expanding beyond our traditional residential model, we will be able to reach hundreds more girls."
