Charleston County Public Works officials will host a public meeting to gather citizen comments and discuss plans for the Dorchester Road Corridor Improvements Project on Thursday, September 26th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the cafeteria at Jerry Zucker Middle School, located at 6401 Dorchester Road.
During the drop-in style meeting, residents will have an opportunity to review initial project concepts and speak directly with the project team.
The project, funded through Charleston County’s second Transportation Sales Tax, includes improvements to roadway capacity, key intersection efficiency, and system continuity along Dorchester Road from Michaux Parkway to the Charleston County line.
Public comments are encouraged and can be submitted September 26th through October 28th via the following methods:
