Every 1 Voice Matters will host their 7th Annual Back To School Event, presented by Every 1 Voice Matters, Healthy Blue, Acts of Kindness, A Second Chance Resource Center, and The Hope Group, on Sunday, August 11th in North Charleston. The event runs from 12 pm to 3 pm.
The event includes:
Giveaways:
- 1,000 bookbags filled with school supplies
- 200 new sneakers
- 200 new uniforms
- Academic assessments
- Free haircuts
Food and Drinks:
- Free hot dogs and drinks provided by the North Charleston Police Department
- Other food vendors will also be available
Activities:
- Activities for children including Skate Boss, jump castles, game trucks, face painting, and many more
- Music by Dj Dynce
- Z93 Jamz and Star 99.7 will be hosting live
- Additionally, various vendors and community partners will be on-site to provide valuable resources and information to all attendees.
The event will be held at the CCSD District 4 Stadium (3659 W Montague Ave., North Charleston).
