The Charleston Comedy Festival is beginning to take shape. Less than a week after Hannibal Buress was introduced as the event’s headliner, Doug Benson has been added to the lineup. The comedian will perform at the Sottile Theater on Friday, January 16th at 8 pm.
Benson is a well-known comedian who has starred in two Comedy Central Presents half-hour specials and the documentaries Super High Me and The Greatest Movie Ever Rolled. He also appeared on NBC's Last Comic Standing in 2007.
Fans may also recognize Benson from Comedy Central’s The Benson Interruption and/or his stints on VH-1's Best Week Ever, The Sarah Silverman Program, The Jeselnik Offensive and Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell.
Tickets for his Charleston performance are already on-sale and may be purchased here. For a small taste of Benson’s stand-up, watch the clip below.
