On March 13, 2024, Dorchester School District Two named Jennifer Passmore (pictured) as the Public Information Officer. In this role, she will serve the district as the liaison to the media and provide essential information to the families, staff, and community of DDTwo.
Mrs. Passmore has been a part of the DDTwo family since 2019, serving as a Communications Specialist. Before coming to the district, she served as Director of Communications - Mount Pleasant Presbyterian Church (2014-2019), Visual Communications Specialist - Spot on Graphix (2010-2014), Freelance Graphic Designer (2001-2010), Art Director - College of Charleston (2000-2001), Art Director – Lake Murray Magazine/The State Newspaper (1997-2000), and Advertising Designer – The State Newspaper (1995-1997).
She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of South Carolina (1991-1995) and moved to the Lowcountry in 2000. Mrs. Passmore and her husband are the proud parents of two school-aged sons.
Dr. Robbins said, “As we look for ways to proactively increase the ways in which we communicate with our community, I am excited about what Jennifer can bring to the role as Public Information Officer.”
