So…that turned out to not be a big deal. This is, of course, a great thing. I’m very thankful that our beloved city was not greatly affected by Hurricane Irene. Our friends to the North will probably not be as lucky. Keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
Now that the inclement weather is gone, it’s time to enjoy a beautiful Lowcountry weekend! Here are a couple of events taking place (Holy City Sinner approved of course):
The Eight Annual Grape Stomp – The Irvin House Vineyard (also home to the Firefly Distillery) event starts at 2pm. After stomping some grapes, be sure to try some Live Oak Reserve.
Blood Bath & Beyond – The Lowcountry HighRollers will be in action today at 4pm. Head on over to the McAlister Field House on 171 Moultrie Street.
Low on cash? There are plenty of free things to do! Just head out and enjoy the weather! Have an awesome weekend my Holy City Angels and Sinners!
