On March 24th & 25th, the College of Charleston will host its annual Accepted Students Weekend (ASW). Students admitted for the Fall 2017 term are invited to come experience all the College has to offer.
While on campus, participants have the opportunity to experience a College of Charleston class, take a tour of campus, hear from current students, staff, and faculty, tour a residence hall, and explore the city the College considers an extension of its campus. Approximately 3,000 attendees are expected this year, accounting for students and their family members attending.
Since its inception nine years ago, ASW has served as the final influential factor in an admitted student's decision to enroll. Each year, more than half of the College's entering freshman attended their own ASW in the spring of their senior year.
Upon check-in, students will receive a gold bag showcasing the College's wordmark. Throughout the weekend, the College encourages the campus community and locals to engage with our guests, showing them the hospitality the College considers a foundational aspect of the CofC experience. ASW attendees will be on campus for the majority of either Friday or Saturday and will be experiencing the city for the balance of their time.
