The Krewe of Charleston will host a food festival, parade, and “Fais Do Do” (Cajun Dance Party) this Sunday at the Charleston Convention Center from 10 am until 8:30 pm.
The Charleston Mardi Gras Finale will include cajun food, Mardi Gras floats, a pig roast, gumbo cook-off, live music and more.
Here’s a look at the schedule:
10 am – noon
- Cajun Hog Roast with boudin, sausage, and more
11 am – noon
- An alligator will be skinned, fried, and made into an Alligator Sauce Picante
Noon – 1 pm
- Crawfish Etoufee Demo
Noon – 4 pm
- Gumbo Cook-Off

- Authentic Louisiana Chef Demonstration
